Outlookup Web Access in Exchange Server 2010, works over SSL. So you have to type owa path as https://mail.mydomain.com/owa , But every one is habituated typing mail.mydomain.com/owa which is by default taken as http://mail.mydomain.com/owa. So you get SSL error 403.4 forbidden, by IIS 7.

So either you have to use https or redirect the error  https. So your users can simply type mail.mydomain.com/owa, then it will be redirected to https and Outlook Web Access works normally.

Procedure:

Firstly we have to open IIS Management console and then go to error pages as shown below.

After entering in to it right click or hit add option on the right pane to add an error page, now error page dialogue box appears, fill the details as shown below.

Status code as 403.4,
Absolute Path as https://mail.mydomain.com/owa

thing is we are redirecting the 403.4 error shown in the first picture to our actual https path of owa, so that we'll be taken to https://mail.mydomain.com/owa.

Note:  restart the IIS service after adding error page to get the changes reflected.
